We are Jonathan and Alicja, the heart behind Restaurant Turpin.
Driven by a shared passion for great food, genuine hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere, we made our dream come true: a warm, stylish restaurant by the sea where everyone feels at home. Located in the charming town of Nieuwpoort, just a short walk from the promenade, we’re delighted to welcome you for a relaxed lunch, an intimate dinner or a cosy afternoon with homemade pancakes.
Jonathan – craftsmanship in the kitchen
Cooking has been Jonathan’s passion since childhood. After graduating in Restaurant and Culinary Arts from the renowned Ter Groene Poorte Hotel School in Bruges, he refined his skills through years of hands-on experience. Today, he proudly leads the Turpin kitchen, where he gives classic Flemish dishes a refined, modern twist — always using fresh ingredients, seasonal produce and a deep love for pure, honest flavours.
Alicja – warmth in the dining room
Alicja makes every guest feel instantly at ease. With her eye for detail and natural charm, she welcomes you into a warm, elegant setting where every element matters. From a friendly greeting to a genuine smile at your table — she turns every visit into a personal and memorable experience.
